More and more foreigners are enrolling to the aviation schools in the Philippines because it’s so cheap and the course of aviation training is so tough compared to other countries’ pilot schooling. For other countries, you are required to complete at least 250 hours of flying an aircraft to qualify to obtain a pilot license, in the Philippines, aviation schools will let you fly an aircraft with over 1500 hours within your pilot training. So it’s very impressive to obtain six times the requirement for you to really call yourself a pilot ;)

PPL Courses

A private pilot certificate is a license that permits the holder to act as the pilot-in-command of an aircraft privately (not for commercial use). It is obtained by successfully completing a course with at least 40 hours of flight time inclusive of solo flights, and by passing 10 written exams, and successfully demonstrating flying skills to an examiner during a flight test or check ride (including an oral exam).

We in Sunsea provide all necessary ground training for 100 hours for appearing for the PPL certification.

Flying activity is heavily reliant on external factors such as weather, visibility, flying environment suitability and airspace availability. The course duration, except in exceptional circumstances, is not expected to exceed four months.

CPL Courses

A commercial pilot license (CPL) is a qualification that permits the holder to act as a pilot of an aircraft and be paid for his/her work. It is obtained by successfully completing a course with at least 150 hours of total flight time and by passing 10 written exams and successfully demonstrating flying skills to an examiner during a flight test or check ride (including an oral exam).

CPL can be obtained after a successful completion of PPL..

Instrument Rating

The most significant value of flying under IFR is the ability to fly in instrument meteorological conditions (such as inside clouds and low visibility situation). It requires additional training and instruction beyond what is required for a private pilot certificate or commercial pilot certificate, including rules and procedures specific to instrument flying, additional instruction in meteorology, and more intensive training in flight solely by reference to instruments.

Our ELITE PI-135 and REDBIRD FMX flight simulators make you understand and interpret ground knowledge in a more in-depth manner. With the instructor guiding the students in details on every aspect of Instrument Flying Royhle is proud to offer a personalized teaching methodology.

Our simulator flight training is an unbelievable experience, which makes actual instrument flying more enjoyable and successful.
