SUNSEA-EFTL TRAINING PROGRAMS
Eagle Flight Training Limited offers individual courses and custom designed
packaged programs. For the Indian students, packaged programs are offered to
save money and time.
As a pilot, you have to comprehend distances and measurements at a moment's
notice. Pilots must also be capable of communicating precisely and clearly with
passengers, air traffic controllers, flight attendants and other pilots. In the
course of work Pilots operate computers and automated instruments continuously.
So to become a Pilot, basic knowledge in Mathematics and Physics, sound English,
good communication skills, and good technical aptitude and of course good health
is mandatory.
Accelerated Package Program
The international students especially Indian students, who need to complete
training in a faster timeframe will benefit from accelerated training programs.
These programs include all of your training, charts, books, examiner fees and
even your lodging for the duration of your training.
The Accelerated Training Courses are designed to be completed within 10 months.
It is a full time program and the student is expected to put their efforts fully
at all times.
EFTL trains all students, both foreign and domestic to meet CAA Pilot
certificate requirements of CAA standards. However, once a student returns to
India, should apply for conversion of foreign licence to an Indian licence with
DGCA. There will be certain exams that have to be passed to do the appropriate
conversion. SUNSEA takes care of the ground school requirements for conversion.

Qualifications: A pass in HSC (Maths/Physics/Chemistry) or equivalent.
IELTS 5.5 band
Commercial Pilot Program
For becoming as a Pilot, one should undergo this program. The Commercial Pilot
Certificate permits pilots to fly aircraft for compensation or hire. Commercial
pilots are entitled to perform a variety of commercial activities. Additional
training and certification is needed for "Air Taxi" and "Air Carrier" operations
such as charter and airlines and this training varies according to the flights
models.
Private Pilot Licence [PPL] (Module 1)
This module is made up of theory and practical flying to gain the Private Pilots
Licence. Candidates must complete a minimum of 50 hours Flight time and Pass 6
Exams.
Of the minimum flying time that needs to be completed during this module, the
following must be included :

Minimum Cross Country Flying (5 Dual and 5 Solo)

Navigation Training [Module 2]
Once the PPL is completed there is advanced dual and solo consolidation
required. The trainee can do the flight time requirements for the commercial
cross country syllabus and build up solo experience, to a minimum of:

At the completion of this module you will be very well placed to move on to your
instrument rating.
Instrument Training [Module 3]
To gain the Instrument Rating the requirement is to have 50 hours of VFR Cross
Country time Candidates must have passed.

The Instrument Rating training consists of 40 hours of Instrument time

Commercial Pilots Licence [Module 4]
This course is a mixture of dual and solo training for the commercial handling
check. To become a Commercial Pilot, you must complete a minimum of 200 hours
flight training before you're able to sit your flight test.
