Stevenson Aviation & Aerospace Training Centre
Stevenson Aviation Technical Training centre was established in 1984 with a
mandate to provide skills training and upgrading to meet skills shortages and
other identified human resource needs within the Canadian aviation industry.
Effective April 1, 2002, Stevenson Aviation has merged with Red River College to
form a new entity – Stevenson Aviation has & Aerospace Training Centre, Red
River College. This merge also includes Stevenson’s Southport campus. The
amalgamation of the two entries will provide greater flexibility in programming,
and more effective use of training staff, equipment, and other resources in
responding to industry demand. Most of the courses are nationally-accredited and
certified (Transport Canada; CAMC) ensuring recognition and portability
throughout Canada for the graduates.
