Program Outline

In addition to the courses listed in Courses and Descriptions, various other professional development seminars to enhance students' aviation training will be provided through all the terms of the program. These seminars will cover such topics as crew resource management, pilot decision making, company safety officer, air traffic control, and other related areas of an aviation career.

CO-OP/Practicum Information

Co-operative education aims at an effective blend of classroom study and off-campus work experience in program-related positions. Students will have the option of taking a four-month paid co-operative work experience term after second term provided they have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. The College makes every effort to secure work placements for all co-operative education students. However, the College does not unconditionally guarantee a work placement to students who enrol in programs incorporating co-operative education.

A co-op tuition fee is charged to all students registered in a co-op work term. Co-op fees cover work placement development, pre-employment instruction, and employment-related monitoring. Co-op students will receive support from the coordinator in the work placement process and will have the opportunity to apply for available co-op work placements. Employment-related monitoring will include support and evaluation by the coordinator during and after the placement.

Employment Potential

Graduates of the program are expected to find employment in various aspects of the aviation industry including flying and airport management.

You can choose your accommodation and RRC will be assisting you.

During the course period, you can also work as part time for 20hrs/week and get remuneration of CAD/hour.
