All students graduating from this course will be eligible to apply to stay and work for 2 years in UK under the Post study work scheme. The student needs to get the right employment within 3 months of the course completion. Otherwise, he needs to return back. For the complete details, careers and training You will be qualified and eligible for placements through a variety of graduate training programmes and depending on the career path you’re interested in pursuing, may be able to apply for exam exemptions from the EASA Part 66 exams. You can also transfer skills to the automotive industry and a variety of energy industries (oil and gas, wind farm, electrical and nuclear) and to chemical engineering. The degree is a great start towards becoming a chartered engineer. To achieve the Part-66 license it is mandatory to work for two years as an aircraft engineer after graduation. Employability and Progression Opportunities Students completing the course will be ready to compete effectively within the employment market for jobs as engineers, supervisors, inspectors, planners, technical writers, recording system managers, quality assurance engineers, spare and equipment provisioning managers, modification and repair designers and chief engineer and deputy in an aircraft operator or maintenance organization. |
